Guest Information

Kaywana Hall welcomes those with disabilities and this statement addresses some of the common issues that disabled people face. Recognition has been given to include guests with an impairment, which could include: Mobility, Sight, Hearing, Learning Disabilities or any hidden impairment.

The property is built into the side of a steep valley. This means that all rooms have a number of fairly steep stairs to the entrances; wheelchair users would be unable to access any of our rooms.

We speak to all guests prior to arrival; please ensure that you notify us of any difficulties so that we can do everything we can to smooth your stay.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bathroom floors are non-slip and we provide additional non slip mats for the baths. We have grab rails that can be clamped on to the shower walls if required. Showers form part of a wet room and are easy to access. Shower stools can also be provided.
Electrical sockets are at a convenient height, as are the light switches. All rooms have phones, which can be used to summon assistance.

Assistance Dogs
We do not allow dogs except the following:

    • Support dogs for stress and anxiety.
    • Guide dogs for visually impaired and blind people.
    • Hearing dogs used by low hearing and deaf people.

Bowls can be provided for assistance dogs for food and water.
No charge is made for assistance dogs.
